Stevie Wonder - All I Do (Todd Terje Edit)

Training to become a pianist Terje enrolled at a local music school, but to his disappointment there wasn’t much jazz being taught there. Gradually leaving the musical career path, he later moved on to studying physics at the University of Oslo. Although not longer aspiring to become a pianist, he was by no means over music. In 2001 Terje got in touch with Prins Thomas, who was at the time working at HS Records in Oslo. Thomas soon recognized his potential, and helped pushing Terje in the right directions. Oslo is a small place where like minded folks tend to join forces, and with his thorough musical understanding and nerdy like interest in old and new records spanning from that new Idjut Boys 12” to experimental synth bands very few of us have ever heard of, he soon became one of the key players on the Oslo electronic disco scene. Besides working on his own projects, Terje’s played on some of Prins Thomas’ tracks, and not to mention his remix of the Lindstrøm 12” “Another Station”.

Jackie Moore - This time baby (12 inch original version)

Born in 1946 in Jacksonville, Florida, U.S.A.
She was active all through the 70's but with not consistent discography.
Her biggest hits are "Precious, Precious" (1970), "Sweet Charlie Baby" (1973) and "This Time Baby" (1979).

One of her last hits is her 1982 duet with Wilson Pickett, "Seconds".

James Dewitt Yancey (1974 – 2006), better known by the stage names J Dilla and Jay Dee, was an American record producer who emerged from the mid-1990s underground hip hop scene in Detroit, Michigan. According to his obituary at NPR.org, he "was one of the music industry's most influential hip-hop artists, working for big-name acts like A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Busta Rhymes and Common."

OOFT! - Memories 12"

Glasgow's Ooft! are definitely on to a winner in their disco-reviving love of sample-tastic house music, not least with 12"s released for the excellent Instruments of Rapture and Wolf Music stables. They're back on the case with this sleek two- tracker for their own Foto Recordings, and it's a game of two distinct halves. "Memories" serves as a functional tech-house number, but the real treat is in the filtered, looped vocal hooks and drawn out build-ups on the flip. The chord change on "Billy" is a timely move to lift the track out of the fog, creating a genuine slice of easy-grooving euphoria along the way.
